Renew Your Registration

A registration renewal may be completed 60 days prior to expiration of the current registration, subject to the availability of renewal materials. The new registration period retains the same expiration month as the original registration, with few exceptions.

Go Paperless!

If you are still receiving post cards reminders that can get lost in the mail and want the DMV to start emailing your renewal reminder, you may sign up here.

Change Your Address

If your address has changed, please visit MVP (Motor Vehicle Portal), prior to renewing your vehicle online. Once you have updated your address, please wait 30 minutes before logging back into RenewalExpress to ensure that the update has taken place.  Not only is updating your address important for ensuring your registration is mailed to the correct location, it also makes sure that the correct inspection requirements and fees are collected.
