Title Corrections

Title corrections are changes to a title outside of transferring ownership. If you just bought a vehicle see our Buying and Selling Vehicles page. If you just moved from out of state see our Moved from Out of State page.

Adding an owner

Registration Note: While this process will yield a new registration certificate showing only the remaining owner, it will not restart your current registration period.

    • Fee: $10.00
  • New Trust Ownership: If you are changing ownership to a trust that the previous owner is not a part of, the transaction is treated as a regular vehicle transfer. Please see our dedicated Buying and Selling Vehicles page for full instructions.
