Replace Decals or Stickers
When a decal/sticker is lost or stolen, it may be replaced for a small fee. To replace a lost or stolen decal/sticker, please visit our Replace your yearly decal/sticker tool on our Motor Vehicle Portal (MVP) or visit your local DMV office with a copy of the most recent registration, license plate number, or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The fee for the replacement depends on the decal being replaced:

To order a replacement decal/sticker by mail, please send a written request with a copy of the registration certificate.

Replace Faded Decal Sticker
If your month decal has faded or is missing, it needs to be replaced immediately! There is no fee for a month decal replacement. To replace a month decal:
- Call 801-297-7780 or 1-800-DMV-UTAH
- Visit any DMV office
- Visit any On The Spot renewal station
