Replacing a License Plate
A license plate can easily be replaced online on our Motor Vehicle Portal (MVP).

When a plate is lost or stolen, it may be replaced for a small fee. The fee for the replacement depends on the item being replaced:

You can also visit your local DMV office with a copy of the most recent registration, license plate number, or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
To order a replacement plate by mail, please send a written request with a copy of the registration certificate.
