Replacing a License Plate

When a plate is lost or stolen, it may be replaced for a small fee. The fee for the replacement depends on the item being replaced:

Standard and Personalized Plates	$16.50	License plate with decal, registration and postage
Special Group Standard and Personalized Plates	$21.50	License plate with decal, registration and postage
Standard and Personalized Motorcycle Plates	$12.00	License plate with decal, registration and postage
Standard and Personalized Trailer Plates	$15.50	License plate with decal, registration and postage
OHV Tan Plate _{(Cannot be completed online at this time)}	$9.50	License plate with decal, registration and postage

You can also visit your local DMV office with a copy of the most recent registration, license plate number, or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

To order a replacement plate by mail, please send a written request with a copy of the registration certificate.
